I go to a state funded office where residents come and go. No joke, I'm on my fourth pdoc this year! So I get the frustration. You get comfortable with one and next thing you know, they're moved on to better and bigger things. If you're really intent on keeping this pdoc then physically go up to the new office if you have to. Or call the old place and see if they've assigned you to someone else.
