I'll check out the software you've mention.
I have Norton Systems Works and it picks up the Adware but it doesn't delete all of them. Then you have to go and delete it yourself which the instructions, to me, is complicated to understand. It says that deleting some Adware may affect other programs. Right now, I have 47 at-risk files that I don't know how to get rid of.
I believe my computer is already set for automatic updates. I'm not sure. Do you know how to do that?
