I think perhaps it is on our minds all the time, because it is our minds we are dealing with. Humans are unique creatures, to be able to think about thinking.
I think therapy is a little like falling in love - it is a force unto itself and it feels so good and so awful and all we want to do is be in it 24/7. But it does ease off, even thought it remains important and minutes can go by without thinking about it. I'm up to hours now!
I think the reward system is a fantastic idea.
