I doubt knowing more would change most posters' minds on this therapist's behavior anyway. Plus, no one ever asks for both sides of the story when it's a story of "good" therapy.

I agree with you about knowing both sides of the store; at least in part anyways.
Knowing the T's side of the story might be beneficial in terms of helping to "reframe" the situation. For example, if I was terminated by my therapist knowing she couldn't help me anymore because of some kind of trauma in her personal life, I imagine I would much better than I would without an explanation.
