Knowing the T's side of the story might be beneficial in terms of helping to "reframe" the situation. For example, if I was terminated by my therapist knowing she couldn't help me anymore because of some kind of trauma in her personal life, I imagine I would much better than I would without an explanation.

Whether that would help the OP, I don't know. And whatever reason the therapist might give (she has been behaving badly for some time), that reason doesn't play a role in our offering the OP support. Losing a therapist is losing a therapist.
