Have you looked into www.rxoutreach.com ? It knocks prices down substantially for a lot of meds if you are low income. I haven't used these but there is also www.xubec.com and www.needymeds.com. Rxoutreach saved me when I was uninsured.
In fact rxoutreach doesn't require financial information. I didn't realize that. don't know about the others.
If you need name brand meds most are available through the pharmacy companies through patient assistance programs. (There are discount cards and assistance which is free 100%). If you don't seem to qualify for assistance still apply and include a note explanining your situation. I've done this a lot of times and always have been approved even though I don't qualify on paper.
