Sorry, I forgot where I posted this. xD
Yeah, the appointment went well. I have the meds and I'm on day #2 of taking them.

Anxiety was a bit higher than expected yesterday, and in the evening my vision went a bit weird and I felt a bit dizzy or nauseous, but aside from that, I seem okay. Could've just as easily been the antibiotics I'm now also taking.
My new GP is nice; I like him as I can actually have a laugh with him! Always a bonus. He seemed understanding and patient. I was pretty anxious, but came out unscathed and feeling proud of myself.
Girlfriend's really pleased; says she's proud of me.
I'm on 50MG now, 100MG in a week, and will go back in three weeks time to catch up and possible make some adjustments.
I did specifically ask the doctor whether it would target all three (depression, anxiety, and OCD) to which he replied that yes, they can be effective for all three. He seemed to acknowledge that I needed something a bit stronger than I used to take back in the day, so I'm guessing sertraline is like a strength up from things like prozac and citalopram.
Meanwhile, regarding OCD, I'm just keeping busy, which is easy when you have your head buried in computer code; it's hard to think about anything else, to be honest. Funnily enough, the very thing I'm doing to avoid being obsessive, I'm doing obsessively. ¬_¬
