My husband and I are considering divorce. He has felt more like my caretaker than my husband for many years and although we do not fight, we are very distant and haven't had a sexual relationship for many years.
He has said he will fight for full custody of our children and "Will win because of my mental illness." He himself is an alcoholic and has cirrhosis of the liver. So, he has his own issues. I think he wants full custody so he won't have to pay child support.
Anyone have any insight into custody during divorce with bipolar disorder?
I will mention that I have never hurt my children ( don't even spank) or endangered them in any way. My kids are 12 ( triplets). I also have another one but she is in college.
Let me know what you guys think!
Thank you.
