Why are people so *******ed annoyed by question asking?

And: Is this is a safe place to ask questions? Shame over asking questions is a massive percentage of my depression. While certainly some of my fears of weakness over asking questions could be steeped in irrationality, I'm still not sure. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario. If you ask questions you're sometimes excoriated, but if you don't you're likely to either provide ******** answers or become the blowhard persona that reeks of insecurity and everyone lambasts. There's the middle option of learning stuff yourself, and only by yourself, but I do that to the point where I'm starting to suffer from being such a one-man island caged in my own thoughts all day, suffering silently over the fear of help. Even some psychology forum I went to earlier, I felt the same vibe of judgment (though perhaps irrationally, impending hostility, and dread of putting myself in a position of need, but paradoxically I'm a 'needy' person. I detest the lack of help I've seen lately, and this could be born out of a selfish need, but so be it. This ties in with my larger issue of having flat-out contempt for people, but I hope to save that for later down the line. In short, even my vast amounts of misanthropy are not sufficient enough for the true, nuanced scumbaggery of people lately, and I feel as if I've lost some autonomy due to their manipulative nature. Basically all of my depression feels warranted lately, and in reality it may just be the imbalance talking. But everywhere I go people smack of a '**** you' vibe. I like nobody; not anymore. I fake friendships, but I don't actually care for these people. All of this can be elaborated on later.

Is this a place you can be vocal about your grievances? Speak your mind with little judgment? Is there any problem with posting multiple threads about different problems/questions as opposed to consolidating your problems all into one massive post?
