Just so you know, if you need to skip meds before a medical procedure they will tell you that specifically. It's not a very common problem. I am on a med (Emsam) that does interact seriously with a lot of other meds and even then I can have surgery with the med in my system, they just follow specific guidelines to keep me safe. But meds like Emsam are very rarely used and very few other meds are a problem. You need to be honest if asked what you are taking but from there on out they'll tell you if there is a problem. Usually they'll work around it in the rare event a problem exists.
You don't want to miss a lot of doses of meds because some of them (I know lithium is one) can stop working if not taken consistently.
