Still has a whole. It's metal but the cheapest tub available in the mid 1970's. The whole is up by the overflow drain so we are working hard on keeping that area dry. Because the tub is original to the house it looks like it was placed before some of the framing. It really isn't going to be pretty and we may have to cut the tub to get it out of the bathroom door way. We have found a tub and surround that will do I think it's fiberglass (oh we never checked to see if it would go though the door) may be getting a wider door. The thing is with the holidays coming and all that we just can't do it now. So I guess we will be really careful till spring, that will give us time to figure out just where we will send the son and grandson. He is going to have to book a week off work. Oh and I figured if we are doing the tub we should do the floor. There is tile left over from when I did the kitchen (it was a horrible job, I should never ever tile again... it's his turn to try) I just hope we don't find anything too scary when we do it. At least we will not have to shut off the main water. I made him put in shut off values and a door in the wall after the second time we had to rip out the wall to get to the pipes.

Well that was horribly long winded.
