Hi Divagirl10. Welcome to Psych Central. I am sorry you are so deeply depressed. The feelings you describe are all symptomatic of depression. So in response to your statement you cannot get out of bed, I hear you. I am struggling with depression as winter starts to roll in.

It is to stop the "bleeding" so to speak. I know it will not solve everything.
If you are getting medication, you may want to talk to your prescriber and tell them your meds are not working to keep you out of depression. If you are not on meds please consider this

I find eating protein every 3-4 hours helps me stay more grounded and stable. I also like to walk, exercise and or do yoga. Depression is not so much about sadness as lack of energy. By doing things however small I feel a little better. A warm shower or bath helps me enormously.
"What is my purpose in this life" is the question I have asked for 50+ years. It is one that I keep getting clues about. Keep asking that question. It is a good one. It keeps us from getting stuck in a rut.
