On the lead up to Christmas we ramp up grocery shopping. We usually have 2 extra but some times as many as 5 extra. If my god son is among the extra then I really have lots. It's crazy how much that boy can eat. I usually add a ham to my turkey dinner if he is around. I know his mother feeds him.
Hubby use to be military so before a posting you stopped buying and just cooked what you had. You actually have to think about it when your not moving regularly.
Still can't believe we have been here this long it is the longest I have ever lived in one spot.
