Your thoughts?
With all we have seen happen (or have heard about), many people hold some degree of fear (and anxiety) about safety in public places these days.

I know I was much more aware at concerts this past summer and am much more aware at the mall (where I walk often), etc.

The ideas around what's "normal" and what's "paranoia" are being challenged these days for everyone.

It can be helpful to discuss with pdoc or therapist, although I can see they don't all agree on this at this point.

My pdoc had told me this increased awareness in public places is "wise." He'd added that he sees it as paranoia only if I were to see the threat as aimed only toward me (if there are people with guns waiting for me to show up). Luckily, I don't think there are gunmen/others waiting specifically for me.

Great topic.
