Could you share your experiences of situations where some misfortune has struck you or you've done something 'embarrassing' and feared people would laugh at you and ridicule you, or turn on you, but at least one person hasn't and has actually been on your side?

For instance, let's say you fell on an icy road and instead of laughing at you, someone came over to ask if you were alright and helped you up? Something like that..
I've learned that some people are trust worthy and others are not. The real trick is not learning to trust, it's learning to trust the right people. I'm in a very untrusting place right now so I can't think of the many times I was helped by the kindness of strangers but it has been enough to be encouraging. Good luck to you and (((hugs)))
