Have you tried Metformin (Glucophage)? It's a diabetes drug but it helps with weight loss in some people on APs. I'm on it and while I haven't been able to take a very large dose because my blood sugar was too low when tested I've gradually lost about 10 lbs. in the last 2.5 months. Which at least gets me back to about where I was when I started clozaril in February. It takes away the nighttime starvation hours for me. I want to try a higher dose but would have to do blood sugar tests and could have problems with low blood sugar and so as long as the low dose is helping I'm hesitant to try.
