I am also new here. My abuse took place where I currently live. When I first moved in here in 2002, there were some neighbors who never wanted me to live here, let alone be on the same wing of the floor where my apartment is. From 2002 to 2008, these same neighbors broke into my apartment while I was asleep. They then woke me up and continued to haze me. One of these neighbors, in particular, abused me while I was trying to shower. They still live in the same vicinity of my apartment. Although, since 2008, they no longer break into my apartment, they find any excuse to harass me to the point I say or do something I regret. They then call the police to my apartment because of this. How do I get out of this vicious cycle short of moving out?
