My Heather (you read that right!) has been with me for maybe 9 years. At the beginning she gladly did chores for me when I didn't feel like doing them. But after a while she started to complain about my mess... sigh. I know she is just in my head but I still can't control her. I can tell her to knock it of and sometimes she is nicer after that.
