No. There's a short period where symptoms probably become a bit worse than before you started taking them (that happens with all meds) when you stop taking them, but far less so than anxiety meds and pretty much all other psych meds.

I'd really recommend them for a while just to think clearly and better analyse your emotion regulation, (like) (impulsive) behaviour and question your beliefs (in a deliberate way).

I need them for BP as well, but it has helped (and helps) people with just BPD. I'm just lucky.
