One person's "normal" is another person's nightmare and vice-versa, I believe. So, do most people "go to bed without worrying about the next day...[then] wake up fresh and peaceful, brains quiet...empty of all incoherent, intrusive, worrying thought...at peace"? Personally, I doubt that is truly possible to that degree for most, but it might be "normal" for most people to not have struggle quite as much as some of us must in order to occasionally find some inner peace.
