most people that I know (including me in this) when having to be in places that are triggering to them/ me they\I dissociate so that they no longer feel triggered.
example before my alters and I were integrated any time I encountered anything of a triggering nature I would feel numb, spaced out, disconnected and the alter who's sense of agency (job, purpose reason for being created and much more about this can be found in the links at the bottom of my post) was to handle that trigger took control and handled the situation for me. even if that situation was going back to my hometown where the trauma's happened.
now that my alters and I are one whole person again I still tend to dissociate to handle triggers though my numbing, spacing out and feeling disconnected so that I no longer feel triggered. sometimes it takes some time for me to use my grounding and other techniques learned in therapy to stay present in the moment rather than numbing and spacing out.
my suggestion is contact your or a treatment provider in your location they will be able to help you develop an emergency plan of what to do to help you to handle your triggers like living in a home that is triggering you.
