First, here are some principles from page 125:

"Everyone knows about the others' alcoholic troubles... We do talk about each other a great deal, but we almost invariably temper such talk by a spirit of love and tolerance.
"Another principle we observe carefully is that we do not relate intimate experiences of another person unless we are sure he would approve..."

Do talk with your sponsor, of course, and I can see at least two possibilities:

1. Chalk it up to careless gossip and just resolve to do better in the future since someone with 25 years would likely not be greatly bothered anyway;
2. Go to the person and admit to some careless conversation without giving the details and while asking forgiveness with a promise to try to not repeat the wrong.
