It sounds like a mixed state/episode (no longer called episode; would be mania with mixed features), mania with depression (or rapidly alternating).
She may need a higher dose of Seroquel (or Abilify or Latuda). Abilify may be too much an antidepressant for the state she's in.
To prevent anything like it happening again or if that isn't enough, she may need a mood stabiliser, like lithium, lamotrigine/Lamictal, Depakote/valproic acid.

Our memories are more or less split in two by abstractions, conceptual reductions. Mood states with memories, concepts, attached. Memories of pain and those of joy. It causes instability, changeability. Fearing that will leave an emptiness between pain and joy and a greater divide.
