My shadow has always intrigued me because it wasn't my shadow that walked with me during the day and at night by the light of the street lamps and moon. It came to my feet but was out of symmetric and also unfamiliar and foreign, much as seeing a stranger in the mirror gazing upon. I've always stared at my shadow wondering who can it be...certainly it's not me. I never felt a connection with my shadow and it never with me. My shadow is not my shadow.
