It is funny some of the old nursery rhymes and stories from hundreds of years ago. I'm surprised she had no clue, didn't act like she had ever heard it! I thought they taught you all better than that :-) I love how they showed the children's facecs to see if they got the innuendo(es).

I have a thick book of "English" nursery rhymes published in the 1920s or 1930s and it's got all the rhymes and is quite fascinating to read. I think too that the whole Banbury Cross thing is where Hot Cross Buns come from. The white icing in the "shape" of a Cross, etc. I don't know what color I would have made the horse; probably white or black and with a "fine lady" maybe white (easy to say now I remember the rhyme/answer :-)
