I get giggly too when I'm manic or hypomanic. Sometimes it's at inappropriate times. I've laughed in serious meetings out of nowhere. I just can't control it when that happens during an episode. Others have also been confused by me laughing at the wrong time and asked me about it, but I really have no clue why this happens.
