here in my location disoriented in the psychological terms means detached from reality ie hallucinating having delusions, delusional beliefs...

under this definition no I did not have alters that were psychotic \ psychosis symptoms of hallucinations and delusions.

I on the other hand did have this associated with my psychosis containing diagnosis's like bipolar disorder and my physical health problem of having MS (a physical disease)

how my treatment providers were able to tell when what symptoms belongs to which of my problems was through the diagnostic criteria of reality testing remains intact with DID.

what helped me when I was going through this was medication changes.

I did have problems where my alters and I sometimes lost track of time or felt numb, spacey\ foggy and detached from one self and body mentally. and sometimes had trouble knowing what day it was and such forgetfulness/ memory type problems but here in my location this isnt called being "disoriented". here in my location these problems are called dissociative, depersonalization derealization and dissociative amnesia.

what helped me in these situations was following through with the breathing and other grounding tools I learned in therapy.

suggestion not sure which way you are using the term disoriented but either way if this continues to bother you contact your or a mental health treatment provider in your location, they will be able to help you to stop the hallucinations and delusions or help you to learn grounding and other self care tools that will help you to be able to control your dissociative symptoms.
