If so, I would have been arrested a long time ago, lol.
There is no legal boundary. Many therapists who have mental health issues need their meds in order to help them remain stable so that they can help their patients in the most optimal way.
Like I said I am currently a therapist intern. I take Lithium and Klonopin. There have been many times in which I have taken a Klonopin right before starting my day and running group therapy-- it does not impair my ability to work at all. I do have anxiety issues and it helps me to stay calm and focus on the patients, rather than my own anxiety problems.
