One of the members of our support group is a volunteer at the VA.
His big gripe about the program they run at the VA hospital is you can not get help unless you're homeless. Poor vets and vets who can't afford medication aren't helped.
I never run into a homeless person who doesn't appear mentally impaired. And beggars in wheelchairs. Amputees. It's so sad.
