So sorry you're going through unpleasant change, having to watch what you know and love disappear or get wrecked. I know I only have pictures in my head of my hometown as it was, it's not "there" anymore and when I drive through that area it makes my heart hurt.

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone.
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
