Has anyone ever heard of facial migraines? My neurologist says it's common, but I think she's just blowing smoke and trying to guess at what's wrong with me. For the past 4 years I've had facial pain and headache-like pain. They initially thought it was sinus problems, so I had sinus surgery in 2014 which did not help whatsoever. I eventually got a new neurologist and she diagnosed me as having chronic facial migraines. She's tried me on multiple migraine-specific medications as well as anti-convulsant medications that are commonly used to treat chronic pain, to no avail. I'm still not convinced it's NOT a sinus issue, as I do also have a firm diagnosis of chronic sinusitis, but everyone (my GP, ENT, and Neurologist) all say my pain is non-sinus related. I've been taking Percocet (Oxycocet) for 4 years, nearly every day, which definitely helps take the edge off of the pain but doesn't take it away completely. I also get Ketorolac (Toradol) injections 4 to 5 times per week, which I've been getting for the past 4 years as well despite it not supposed to be used long-term. I do try exercising in hopes that that will help my pain, but it seems to make my pain worse.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what treatment has helped them?
