It gets the job done. I'm on Abilify now, but the risperidone wasn't terrible. My doctor prescribes 2mgs tablets of risperidone for me to take on top of the Abilify+other things when and if I feel the need. I don't take it often, but when I do take it (at night), it works well at reducing agitation and such.

Long term, I think one problem is prolactin elevation. I think there's blood tests for that one.
