Wow, that's a long wait. Have you seen your regular doctor about the bleeding? Maybe he/she could order a colonoscopy and get you in sooner? Or I think they can also order a stool sample to analyze (sorry to be gross!), which I think could help them figure out where the blood is coming from. I'm assuming from your location you're in Australia? Not sure how the health system works there, but what if you showed up in the emergency room saying you had bloody stool? (and whatever other symptoms you're experiencing.) Would they see you? Just an idea... Good luck!
