My pdoc isn't anti my drinking coffee. She knows I love good coffee, and hasn't seen me manic for any significant duration. Valproate and Lamotrigine seem to be doing their job. I have bigger fish to fry with psychosis. As you say, it's a pick me up when I'm feeling flat. I'm not on antidepressants.
