I take 2 Alleve every morning for severe back pain. My pain doc okay'd it but I worry that they will eat up my organs at some point, I've already been taking them regularly like this for some 5 years and plan on continuing because they've helped a lot.

I love how pain docs will prescribe OTC pain meds, as much as you want, short and especially long-term side effects be damned, but will not prescribe opioids. I know the reasoning behind it, but still find it ironic.
