I was sober 8 years...and still between 4pm and 6pm I was very antsy/anxious.

I have analyzed this and I know it is because it was around 4pm everyday after work (when I worked first shift) for about 20 years...that I would start drinking.

I had a relapse in 2014..that is still somewhat ongoing...I'm recovering right now from another bad binge last week...and I just looked at the clock...and although I have been pretty anxious today probably from some left over withdrawals...I moaned just because I KNOW at around 4 it is going to be worse.

Also, it is like at 6pm I breath a sigh of relief..look at the clock...and it is always about 6pm when the severe anxiety is over.

This has been happening everyday for over 11 years...since I got sober in 2005...

Does anyone else have a particular time of day as they try to stay sober that it becomes very difficult due to heightened anxiety?
