I'm fortunate that the urge to drink has been lifted for me...One day at a time. When I was newly sober, however, I would have drinking dreams. They scared the heck out of me. Two & a half years ago I quit smoking & now I have smoking dreams! This doesn't really address your question, but the mind is a mysterious thing.
