So I'm back on the regular, immediate release of Lamictal.

When I was on immediate release last time, I was on 300 mg (divided doses though AM and PM). Now, I'm on 400 mg (200 AM, 200 PM). Most people seem to be on nothing higher than 300 mg, except in rare circumstances. My pdoc is not certain if I will see a difference or not on 400 mg, but I am hoping I will benefit since I love how Lamictal has no side effects for me, but 200 mg was not enough to stabilize me (even with an AP and benzo).

Has anyone here noticed that 400 mg Lamotrigine has been more effective than 200 or 300 mg?? I'm just curious to hear about personal experiences since once I remember reading that there's not much of a clinical benefit moving past 200mg daily.
