most if not all USA states have a state law that all public buildings require the person to be clothed and shoes of some kind.
that doesnt mean you have to be extremely uncomfortable. I know some people who enjoy the nudist lifestyle wear a bathing suit and robe and slippers to their appointments....
that said this time of year you might want to rethink going as clothes less as possible. the USA is in a bad freezing weather across the USA. being out with just bathing suit or naked right now can lead to a persons freezing to death. not to mention what if the power goes out in your therapists office and theres no way to heat the place. and you are sitting there in a bathing suit that barely covers the important parts. by the time the session is over it could be freezing in your therapy session.
not to mention your treatment provider. what if a male client went to their therapy session with a speedo bathing suit that barely covers and the therapist is an undisclosed in the closet gay person. or vice versa if you are female and have a female treatment provider who is a lesbian or straight.. dont you think wearing little to no clothing could make your therapist unable to concentrate on the problems at hand.
its one thing to go naked at a nudist camp where its understandable that everyone is naked and no one gets sexually aroused by it. but its other to be in the general public where other people may find your body to be interesting to say the least.
my opinion I wouldnt want to put my treatment provider through having me sit there naked or half clothed in therapy sessions. I too enjoy being naked but I know that the place for me to do so is at home when I am alone or with my wife, not for my children and definitely not for my therapist. my therapist would probably have me arrested on my locations indecent exposure law.
