I first went on meds when I was hearing voices and seeing things at 16. I stayed on them for a short time. I bounced around taking ads for a while until I finally broke. When I ended up at the hospital they put me on meds and set me up with a Pdoc when I was released. I was dx'd as bipolar and given a ton of meds. They didn't help and I lost it and ended up back in the hospital twice before I got a Pdoc that looked at my meds and said no way. He put me on zyprexa with a few other things and I felt better. Went to my last Pdoc who dx'd me as schizophrenic and then schizoaffective. I'm med compliant and feel pretty good.
