Some of you may remember some of my posts from before. I tend to lean towards anxiety and obsessive thoughts as my worst symptoms with my MI, although I have Bipolar 2. Some of you seemed concerned about the lack of SSRI support in my current cocktail, considering all of my OCD symptoms.

Recently, my job has gotten increasingly demanding and stressful. So my worries and obsessive thoughts have gotten worse. I finally called my pdoc, and although he was about to go on vacation, he consulted me over the phone and FINALLY has called in some Lexapro for me.

I am so relieved, and so far, after just a few days, I'm starting to feel more calm. Don't worry, I know the warning symptoms (and my family knows) to look for of bad reactions I can possibly have to antidepressants (s****** thoughts and behaviors as well as hypomania/mania symptoms). So far, so good. No hypomania. The worst side effect so far is mild migraines. But I don't care. I'm feeling better and I can deal with the migraines for now. It may just be a temporary side effect.

Happy Holidays, Everyone!!
