Here's a little update

Yesterday they sent a message to all the scanners stating that we will be working Christmas Eve with regular hours. Regular hours being for me a 12+ hour shift. Which means I would not get off until at least 10pm that night.

I told my boss that this is BS because he told me we wouldn't be working Christmas Eve. So I stated"I will not be working any this weekend. You can just tell me Tuesday if I should bother coming in"

I wouldn't be putting myself in a tight situation since I don't have a family or any large payments excluding rent.
