I dunno what to do, honestly. If he really can't do his job and he's upfront about it, maybe its time to just move along to the next pdoc. Its great that he's seen you through things and gotten the meds adjusted, etc., but if there's funamental incompatibility, the maybe its time to bail out.
Then again, I"m not you. Because of personal experiences, I try to stay somewhat detached from my shrinks. This situation looks like its blurring some boundaries to me, personally.

There does seem to be a fundamental incompatibility and blurring of boundaries. He just can't seem to separate his fundamentalist religion from his practice. I heard that he took one of his patients to church. That is way out of boundaries, even if the person is a Christian. Moving pdocs just seems like such a headache and who knows who I will get. But it is becoming clear that is probably what I am going to have to do.
