I tried going off Lexapro once and I became severely depressed a month later. Then when I went back on it and felt a lot better.

Hopefully Celexa works out for you. I think Celexa is citalopram, and I know Lexapro is escitalopram. It's the same drug actually, except Lexapro is a bit stronger.

I think Celexa/Lexapro are great ADs from my experience.
