Dad, please, please, keep your hands off the temperature dial on the oven. Prime rib is waaaaaaaaaaay too expensive to ruin. It shouldn't be extra well done. If you are so set on eating shoe leather, then accept my offer to hack off a chunk of the beef to cook to your liking. I am sick of spending my Christmas Days leaning against the stove fending off your attempts. Stop acting in a huff because you don't get your way. It ruins the day for all of us. If you must get angry, lock yourself in your room and freak out on your own.
