A great deal of pessimism. What shame.

I admit, I have lied. I have lied to save myself from emotional and physical harm. I am guilty of lying by omission. I have lied to save the feelings of others.

But I have been brutally honest too. And that seems to get me in trouble when the better option was to perhaps have lied instead.
