I agree with Luce.Most people don't even know what dissociation is or even means,so I can't even imagine complete strangers asking.

I could understand someone asking," hey,why were/are you acting so strange?" or something similar,but to ask why you dissociate...that IS a bizarre question.

Did they actually use the word 'dissociate' ?
