I found an almost empty bag of chicago popcorn mix that my ex-dog loved to eat with me. He got the cheese kind and I ate the caramel. I forgot I still had some left. As soon as he smelled (I guess - or heard - he would come from where ever he was) it, he would come and sit on my feet and wait for me to feed it to him when the other dogs were outside- one for him and one for me until the little bowl I used for it was empty. Cheesy popcorn and bananas were his special favorite treats. And now I can add bag of popcorn to the list of stupid things that cause emotion in relation to said beasty.
On the other hand - pup just got a new treat that he thought was okay - he ate it but not with the glee/obsession of exdog. My old cranky dog won't eat it at all - I have to get him a plain biscuit which he takes to his bed and takes about an hour to consume.
