I am from Australia yes. The health system here is comparatively not too bad, but like most places in the world the health system could be better. The hospital closest to me just started shutting down the emergency section- my grandparents friend ended up travelling to 3 hospitals for help after he had a heart attack.

My regular doctor is the one who sent a referral off to the hospital to see a specialist. He's sent it off twice now actually and stated it was urgent (though according to the woman at the hospital I need to have patience because 'we've got people here who have cancer'). Thanks lady, I wasn't trying to put myself on a pedestal above cancer patients, I would just like to know why I **** blood 7 times yesterday and had to take a moment to get to my front door and sat for 5 minutes cussing every word under the sun because I felt like I was getting stabbed from the inside.

If I get told I've got to wait another 6 months I might just fork out a few hundred dollars for the colonoscopy.
