I've had a couple of lengthy breaks like that and they seemed so mpossible, especially at the beginning. It helped me to 1. Keep busy especially evenings and weekends when I would otherwise have more time to dwell on my feelings; and 2. Journaling a lot and keeping a Running list of things I wanted to discuss with T. Many of them I resolved, or they became less intense, as time went on. That was helpful to me--to see how much I could manage on my own and what I really needed T for. Posting on here a lot helped, too.
